The RBT builds upon the Rotabloc Energy Storage Unit to provide a simple UPS system that can be configured to provide the desired level of protection and reliability for your facility. Efficient and sustainable, RBT delivers highly competitive CapEx and exceptionally low OpEx leading to an unmatched Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) both in low and medium voltage configurations.
Featuring a low-speed, steel-made, and air-cooled flywheel, the Rotabloc RBT is an extremely reliable and robust machine. It has a minimum autonomy of 10 seconds, which allows it to be used with alternative power sources, such as diesel generators, to guarantee unlimited power. Critical functions do not use fragile components such as power electronics, power capacitors, electro-chemical batteries, active magnetic bearings, electro-mechanical or mechanical friction clutches. The design of the Rotabloc RBT results in a longer life expectancy (> 25 years) and very low maintenance requirements.
